So as you may or may not know, Meg Frampton has decided to take a break from touring to focus on jewelry, art, and a little bit of her own life. I’d be lying if I said this wasn’t heart breaking news for me — Meg & Dia have been my favorite band since I first heard them when I was only a little teenager, and it’s definitely weird that any of them won’t be there playing with the rest of the group.  Still, I understand where Meg is coming from, and I definitely wish her best of luck and happiness with her life — and hope to see her playing with the rest of my favorite band again some day.  I know she’s not falling off the face of the earth. In fact, she’s still going to be blogging away over at chandlertherobot and updating on Meg & Dia’s facebook, but I still wanted to make a little something in commemoration (for lack of a better word) to someone who’s been one of the biggest inspirations in my life. (I’m trying to make this sound as little as something towards someone who’s actually died rather than just taking a break from touring, hahaha) Any way, good luck, Meg! Looking forward to see all the art and little robots you come up with, as usual!
